In partnership with High Ridge Aviation, AWAR is honored to introduce the first annual Jane O’Callaghan Award. This prestigious award is sponsored by High Ridge Aviation in memory of Jane O’Callaghan, a board director at the company.

Named in tribute to Jane’s remarkable legacy, this award recognizes rising stars who exemplify the same determination, excellence, and passion that defined her career. Jane was very much a trailblazer in the aviation industry.

Jane started her career in 1987 at GPA and spent much of her 30+ working years in the C suite of leading aircraft leasing companies. She held senior commercial roles at many of the prominent businesses in the aircraft leasing sector, including GPA, GECAS, Pembroke Capital, Aircastle, ALAFCO and AMCK Aviation. Jane had a depth of experience across all facets of the aircraft leasing and finance business that is rare among men and women alike. Her grit and determination, coupled with her brilliance and kindness was unparalleled, making her a cherished figure in the aviation community.

This inaugural award will be presented at the Advancing Women in Aviation Roundtable (AWAR) Annual Luncheon in Dublin during the aviation conference week in January 2026. 

Please nominate a rising female star who you believe encapsulates the spirit of Jane.  We are looking for women with approximately 5-15 years of experience who are independently minded, determined, and fearless – someone who is already making an impact on the future of our aviation community and the industry.
