Advancing Women in Aviation Roundtable (AWAR), in partnership with High Ridge Aviation, today announced Lisa Goodman as the inaugural recipient of the Jane O’Callaghan Award, presented during the AWAR Leaders Roundtable Luncheon in Dublin.
The Jane O’Callaghan Award was established in memory of Jane O’Callaghan, a widely respected aviation leader and former board director of High Ridge Aviation, whose career and character left a lasting mark on the aircraft leasing and finance community. The award recognizes rising women in aviation who demonstrate independence of thought, determination, leadership, and the courage to help shape the future of the industry.
Lisa Goodman was selected from a strong field of nominations as the ideal inaugural honoree. With more than five years in aviation, she has distinguished herself through her ability to build trusted relationships, take on complex challenges, and step confidently into roles that demand initiative and resilience. Her approach reflects many of the qualities Jane exemplified throughout her career—grit, curiosity, and a commitment to excellence.
Jane believed deeply in empowering women to pursue leadership roles in aviation, and she led by example every day,” said Emily Wicker, President of AWAR. “Lisa embodies the spirit of this award. She is independently minded and determined, and she represents the next generation of women helping to move our industry forward. We are proud to recognize her as the inaugural recipient of this award in Jane’s memory.”

The award was presented by Margaret Clandillon, Chairperson of the Board of High Ridge Aviation and a longtime colleague and friend of Jane O’Callaghan.
We’re proud to celebrate the legacy of Jane—our colleague and friend—and to recognize Lisa as the inaugural recipient of an award that reflects the values Jane stood for throughout her career,” said Clandillon.
Goodman currently serves as Vice President of Marketing, EMEA at Jackson Square Aviation, following earlier roles at Avolon. While still early in her aviation career, she has earned a reputation for adaptability, strategic thinking, and leadership in fast-paced environments.
To be named the inaugural recipient of an award honoring Jane O’Callaghan is incredibly meaningful,” said Goodman. “Jane’s career and leadership set a standard that continues to inspire so many across our industry. I’m grateful to AWAR and High Ridge Aviation for this recognition and for the opportunity to be part of honoring her legacy.”
Greg Conlon, Chief Executive Officer of High Ridge Aviation, shared his support for the award and its inaugural recipient.
“Jane was a trailblazer whose influence continues to shape our industry,” said Conlon. “This award is about honoring her legacy by recognizing women who reflect her spirit, and we congratulate Lisa on this well-earned recognition.”
Jane O’Callaghan began her aviation career in 1987 at GPA and spent more than three decades in senior commercial and leadership roles across the aircraft leasing sector, including GPA, GECAS, Pembroke Capital, Aircastle, ALAFCO, and AMCK Aviation. Her depth of experience across leasing and finance—matched by her generosity as a mentor and colleague—made her a cherished figure within the global aviation community.
The award was presented during the AWAR Leaders Roundtable Luncheon, held during aviation conference week in Dublin at the Conrad Dublin. Jane’s husband and sons were in attendance, joining industry leaders in celebrating her life, legacy, and the future leaders inspired by her example.
